Akanesi was awarded a Duffy certificate at our online Assembly this morning for returning to school with a positive attitude in all learning areas. She also enjoyed playing on the playground with her friends!

Well, look who is at back at school today! How exciting to be able to return to the classroom after 3 long months of being in extended lockdown? Here is Akanesi enjoying her morning tea and waiting for the bell to go home with some Team 2 friends!

Rm 24 Google Meet!

Rm 24 Google Meet

This week we are meeting with our own classes at 2 o'clock in the afternoon as our morning Team 2 Google Meets were getting busy and now everyone can have a turn to talk when they raise their hand and use GM4GM! Well done everyone for sharing. Mrs Carter loves seeing your happy smiley faces everyday while we are all staying safe in our Bubbles at home...

Level 4 lockdown!

Akanesi joined us in our Team 2 Google Meet last week and wrote this in her daily journal: i am sad because i want to go to school with all my friends but it is lock down so i am bored. I hope that this weeks online learning will keep you busy and interested with reading, writing and maths from Mrs Carter.

My trip to Stardome!

Akanesi enjoyed travelling by bus to Cornwall Park in Greenlane to visit the observatory. She liked learning about the earth, sun and moon. She also had fun at the playground with her friends! What did you like the best?

Making paper snakes!

Today I had fun folding two pieces of coloured paper and then glued them together to create this pretend snake. I learnt about over and under and repeating the pattern.

Akanesi enjoyed swimming in the sea with Mrs Carter and her friends. She also spent a long time at the beach, burying herself in the sand!

Water safety in Term 1!

For the next two weeks Team 2 get to go swimming at the Glen Innes pools. Akanesi enjoyed learning how to use the flutterboard and go under the water to get the toy!
